United States Domestic Shipping Notes
For DOMESTIC orders over $50, we will usually select the most reasonable shipping method for you, which may include the use of USPS Flat Rate boxes, and UPS. All orders over $50 are insured at our discretion. Please be aware that ONLY UPS offers tracking of packages, so if that is important to you, please request UPS specifically in the special instructions box of your order form. We will email you when your package is on the way, and the carrier will normally email you with some tracking information as well. The shipping rates noted on the chart below will be applied to your order based on the cost of your fabrics, and we will adjust shipping fees if necessary once your order is cut and weighed.
GENERALLY, the shipping charges for USPS and UPS are very similar, unless you live in a remote area, or Alaska and Hawaii. We do take advantage of the NEW USPS Flat Rate Boxes when shipping to ALASKA AND HAWAII or UPON REQUEST, which allow us to ship about 10-12 yards in a box for $8.95, however insurance MUST be added to that cost and that usually adds about $3 to the cost of shipping a flat rate box. There is NO tracking on those boxes, even if they are insured.
If you have a "fabric emergency," and need your fabric quickly, please contact us to see what special services are available for you. We can provide estimates for special shipping services. ONLY UPS guarantees NEXT DAY delivery.
If you are outside of the continental US, (Hawaii and Alaska), or if you have an APO address, we use Priority mail via the US Post Office. Again, additional charges may apply if your order exceeds the weight and size limitations of a flat rate Priority mail envelope or if the order is over $50. Flat Rate BOXES with insurance will be used whenever possible to reduce the shipping fees whenever possible.

Foreign Shipping Notes
If you are in the Global Priority system, we will ship to you via the US Post Office Global Priority Services.
For smaller orders (under $50), we will use the flat rate mailers available through USPS. The current charge is $11.50 for all foreign countries in the Global Priority System, and $9.50 for Canada and Mexico.
To see the various services available through the US Postal System, please go to www.usps.com and select the "Calculate International Postage" link. Enter the name of your country and estimate the weight of your parcel by adding up the total yardage, divide by 2 and subtract 1. For many countries, Express mail is only about $2 more than Air Parcel Post with insurance, so it is quite reasonable. We recommend using Express Mail with insurance and tracking for larger orders. It is the only foreign method that includes tracking. Flat rate mailers and international priority mail CANNOT be tracked.
Please Note: Packages shipped using Flat rate mailers must weigh under 4 pounds and must be able to be secured safely in a flat rate envelope. Generally, we can fit 7-8 yards of fabric securely in a mailer, as long as it is not flannel. Please understand that these parcels cannot be insured or tracked and if you select this method of shipping, it is at your own risk. Please note that you are responsible for any customs fees or duty on your end and we are unable to falsify the value of the parcel, nor can we mark retail purchases as gifts.
If you would like a shipping estimate before your package is shipped, please include this request in the "special requests" box at the bottom of your on-line order form. Kits and orders exceeding the limitations of a flat rate mailer will be shipped EXPRESS MAIL at our discretion.
How To Place An Order - Using Our Shopping Cart Software
1. Place your curser in the quantity box for the item you wish to purchase. Place the correct number in the quantity box and click on the button that says "add item to cart." You may use a decimal or a fraction for yardage amounts, as well as whole numbers.
2. If you are purchasing more than one item on a page, you may put your quantity numbers in for the entire page, but you MUST ADD THEM TO THE CART BEFORE YOU move on to the next page of that category or another category.
3. Once you place an item in the cart, you may return to that area of the site by clicking on the back button on your toolbar. This is usually in the upper left hand corner of your screen. Or, you may click on the "continue shopping" bar and return to that category to add more items.
4. If you ever experience a "whoops" message, please click on the bar that says "view items in cart" and see exactly what is in your cart. Sometimes when you go back and forth between items or add several items to the cart, or leave your computer after being on the site and return to it later, your computer and the site become confused. Ignore the message if what you wish to buy is actually viewed in the shopping cart. If the cart does not contain what you want, go back and add or delete items.
5. To delete an item in the shopping cart, click on the "delete item" bar. A row of small boxes will appear to the left of the items in your cart. Click on the box of any item you wish to delete, and then CLICK THE DELETE ITEMS BAR AGAIN. The items will be removed.
6. Once the items you wish to purchase are in your shopping cart, please click on the "Checkout Stand" bar. Fill in all the required information ACCURATELY. Make sure you give us your FULL address, including road, street, avenue, etc. We want to make sure your package arrives safely and on time!
7. Make your decisions regarding shipping options and give us any special instructions about your order using the choice buttons and request box. These buttons help us to ship your order more efficiently, so please use them.
8. Click on the PROCEED TO SECURE ORDER FORM. If you do not wish to place your credit card on the internet, then just click "SUBMIT ORDER" and call in your card number between the hours of 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, along with the invoice number that appears at the bottom of the order when you send it. This invoice number will also be on the e-mail confirmation that you receive after your order is submitted.
9. Be sure to double check your credit card information for accuracy, including the expiration date. Your order will not be shipped until your credit card is approved, and inaccurate numbers are the most common reason for declined credit cards.
10. After you place your order, please check your computer over the next several days. If we have a question about your order, we will e-mail you. Look for any messages from Quilter's Paradise regarding your order and reply to them as quickly as possible.
